We're Three; thank you for being here! The journey that led me to start Saltbox Sash began at the craft show pictured above. At that time, I was planning to open my own business in the home décor industry. I came upon a booth selling fair trade home décor products, and I purchased a heart-shaped jewelry box. When I opened the box, I saw an information card containing words such as fair trade, movement, sustainable, and handmade.
Intrigued, I set out to research the meaning of fair trade. That was when I decided that my business would exclusively sell fair trade, and handmade home décor. I wanted to bring my customers products that are not only beautifully handcrafted, but also contribute to social justice, and environmental stewardship. We officially launched in 2020 and have remained committed to our values impacting global artisans with every purchase.
