  • This unique ceramic luminary is handcrafted in a family workshop in San Juan de Oriente, Nicaragua. Each luminary is created from local clay, turned on a kick wheel, hand-painted, and wood-fired in a beehive-shaped kiln. To truly appreciate the magic of these handcrafted luminaries we recommend filling them with fairy lights. Enjoy them while hosting your next outdoor gathering. For use with a tea light candle or string of fairy lights (not included).

  • Why you'll love it: Your purchase of this handcrafted luminary helps support small family workshops and cooperatives in Nicaragua. In addition to sustainable employment, artisans are provided with business training, product development/design, no-interest micro-loans, and direct grants for workshop capacity building.

  • Materials: Clay, paint
